2007, that is. Frankly, I'm glad to see it in my rear view mirror driving 80 mph (no, that's not fast enough). Though a sweet conversation over crepes with a friend this morning convicted me. Instead of being thankful it's gone, how about being thankful for all I've learned. Thankful the Lord is forever faithful and carried me over many difficult mountains I thought I'd never get around. The stretching and molding and growing this past year has perhaps been one of the most yet. And maybe, just maybe, it could be that I've reached some sort of spiritual awareness in my years that I'm finally understanding sanctification - God takes me on a journey of purpose, I choose to accept His will and follow it no matter what the circumstances, all the while exclaiming "Praise His name". Isn't that the way it's suppose to go? Okay, well I haven't achieved it yet. . .but that's what I am working on. How about you?
God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to His eyes. Psalm 18:24 Msg
